What is going on in the FreeOnes world? Site updates!

So it's been a minute since I've done a bit of an update on some of the big features that we're currently working on!

New Link Submit (Now Live)

Currently, if you wish to submit a new link to FreeOnes, we have a craptastic form pop up that allows you to input the same information that you could input on the old site. Not exactly optimal, especially since links on FreeOnes now have:

• thumbnails
• up to 3 categories
• tags
• ability to add more than 1 babe to a link (i.e. if you have a 10 babe orgy, you can add all 10 babes to the link if you know who they are!)
• ability to mark a link as a photo link

On top of being able to add all of the above goodies to your link, if a new link is accepted it will be scheduled to come out somewhere in a 72 hour time period. So it will no longer be instant like it has been. This will play into the next topic...

A Constant Release of Content

Currently, everything that is scheduled for a day is dumped out at one time. Near the end of September we will start releasing the days content over the entire day so there's always something fresh and new to look at if you visit FreeOnes.com over the course of the day!


Discount Page

I don't know how many of you remember our old pay site discount page from around 2012-2014. Well, we're bringing this back for those of you who are looking for cheap offers and great deals.


GIF Page

I've already made a thread about a GIF page last month. This has gone from concept to being put in the pipeline for production. I have the final designs and we sat down last week to work out the technical details on how we're going to do this.

A few things:

• Logged in users will be able to submit GIFs
• There are various formats that can be submitted, not just the .gif file (there will also be a filter so those of you who only want gifs of a certain format can bring those up)
• The index page will be paginated
• You don't have to know the babe of the GIF but you MUST, absolutely 5000000% MUST give credit to the pay site that you got/created the GIF from. Hopefully we can keep legal issues to a minimum if we're pushing traffic their way.

Games Page

We will also be creating a page show casing all of the different sexy computer games that are out there! This one will probably come closer to the end of the year, if not the beginning of the year.

VR Page

A page where you'll be able to find all of the VR content that's out there.

New Babe Suggestion Page and Babe Wiki Page

These also will be getting some love before the end of the year.

FreeOnes Credit System

This will also be worked on towards the end of the year. We're laying the foundation for this, but won't have anything visible for awhile. Don't worry, all of your credits are still safe and sound.




So as you can see, we still have loads going on! As always, this is a great time to ask any questions you might have! It's also a good time to lay out any concerns or give suggestions!

When submitting new links, it's still going to be required to have the return link on the gallery page to Freeones, isn't it? If so, no hope for normal non-webmaster random pornhorndog surfers to be able to submit them. This must be made absolutely clear now as to which way it's going to be. As you might remember (or probably don't, that's half a decade ago at least), I had some very aggravatingly contradictory shit with this when I tried it the last time. That's the sort of stuff where my patience runs out in a millisecond.

Probably would fail spectacularly and end up as nothing but trollbait and a cesspool for moderators to constantly purge, but there it is. Another idea out of my system.

No, it's not part of the form this time. It is part of the agreement you'll check when you submit. This is so when we catch people who are going to try to pass off as regular users, we can torch them (i.e for those of you reading this, it's better to just comply than to try to game it. It's not a matter of if we catch you, just when).

One key issue from now on is logging the source of every gif we collecct, if we are not the creator of the gif... and then we have to log and name the source of the material we created the gif from, if it one of the very popular porn gallery animation.

Buit that is a good thing, too. If we name the source and the babes involved, other members don't have to ask where they can find this babe, and who it is.

All in all, the quality of the shared gifs will be better, me thanks. New standards are a good thing.

And the guys can go on and share the unacceptable gifs someplace else. Better not on Facebook, though. I got banned for 24 hours for posting a cartoon gif of a couple having sex, no nipple, no genitals to be seen. That place sucks soo hard in that regard.

When videos are added to playlists, the video still shows "Add to Playlist" text after the add. It works and goes to the playlist all right, but it's aggravating to see that text when the video is already there.

The main site is still really slow.

You ran into the same irritation that I had earlier.

There is a way to report individual links, but NO WAY to report overall issues with the entire dashboard.

Example: Today, a new dashboard was created for Kyrah Melena. The issue, that is not her name. Her name is Kyrah Me'lena.

The apostrophe was left out. If someone had seen that and did a thread search, they would not find her. Under vBulletin, the search function ignored apostrophe's. Xenforo does not.

My solution was to add the mis-spelled name to the title of her thread. That solves that problem. However, if someone uses the mis-spelled name to search Google (or whatever search engine), they're not going to find anything.

As far as the dashboard correction is concerned, I clicked on "Report Link" and stated that I was not reporting the link, but was reporting that her name was mis-spelled. If it isn't fixed within a couple of days, I'll try another route, but I prefer not to say what that is at present.

Hopefully, the admins can come up with a solution.

You can always hit up @Steve-FreeOnes in a private conversation. Note he's on holiday for a week so if he doesn't answer right away that's why.

I had planned reworking the way babes work in regards to submitting, suggesting bio info, suggesting changes, reporting bad info on locked profiles, etc for this period but unfortunately I had to push it back for a few things that jumped up in priority. I'm hoping to have an entirely new babe profile system in place by the end of the year though.

As I said above, I'm planning on reworking how the babe profile system works. Hopefully by the end of the year we'll have a new system where you can report inaccuracies to locked profiles. Until then, ping @Steve-FreeOnes in a private convo and he can help you.

You weren't aware? And here I thought the reason Regina quit was because of all the complaints I've whined about over the past 10 years. Complaints about the sheer volume of profiles with misspelled names and/or names that are completely wrong/made up.

I'm gonna send you a link to a thread in the mod section (one of Steve's threads).

FYI, there are currently over 90 babes on FreeOnes that have a surname listed as "Ahe". Not a single one is correct. All of the surnames should be "A". I've hesitated to check B,C,D,etc., because I know it's gonna be a lotta work, probably well over 1,000 names that are wrong.
