Just out of curiousity, what graphics card are you using at the moment.

I only ask, because a survey of gamers by Steam after the Half Life 2 release, showed most gamers are still running on a Geforce 4.

The Geforce 4 is still a good card, but can't access all the tricks of DirectX9.

I'm running an ATI Radeon 9800 Pro at the moment - but please, don't let this become an ATI vs Nvidia thread. Just genuinely curious what the most commonly used card is.

I've listed some of the major cards above (not all, as there aren't enough options), so if yours isn't listed feel free to add it in the thread.

Could someone please be so kind to explain to me the difference between the white cable connection to your monitor and the blue one? I think white is DVI??? and blue is analog???? Which one should I use if I have the card noted above with a high definition monitor? What does it all mean!!! lol :crash:

:glugglug: I'm officially jealous now, lol.

Yep, white's generally DVI (Digital Video Input). Blue's the older analog version.
Basic difference is digital's clearer than analog.

I'd say use the DVI connection - your rig sounds sweet
