FreeOnes Pay Site Warning System

One of the goals of FreeOnes is to allow our visitors to feel confident when they browse our site by knowing that our links are safe. We have armed our surfers with some great tools so they can be as informed as possible when choosing a pay site to sign up to and now we're offering a Pay Site Warning System to allow our surfers to become even more informed!

This system was developed so that you, the visitor, can be alerted when a pay site has potential extra charges. This way when you're thinking of signing up to a pay site, you can be aware of what you are signing up for. We don't want to scare you away, we just want you to be confident that you are getting what you paid for and won't find extra charges on your credit card statement that you weren't expecting!

In order to do this, we've developed a warning system which will appear next to a link in the babe section if there are potential extra charges, such as cross-sales. This is where you are being offered something in addition to what you originally intended to purchase, usually a trial to another site which will become a full membership, on the site's join page.

Checked and no extra charges found

If you see this green icon it means the link was checked by our team and no extra charges were found on the join page.

Pre-Checked Cross Sale Above the Join Button

If there is a blue icon, this means that there is 1 or more pre-checked cross-sale above the join button. If you want to make use of the offer, make sure the boxes are checked but if you don't want them, simply uncheck the boxes.

Pre-Checked Cross-Sale Below the Join Button

If there is a orange icon, this means that there is 1 or more pre-checked cross-sale below the join button. You need to make sure to scroll down below the join button to see what else will be included in your membership if you leave the boxes checked.

Hidden Cross-Sales or Charges

If the icon is red, you need to be extra careful when deciding to join the site as there may be hidden charges that are not stated or clearly stated on the join page. A site receives this warning after visitors have reported their problems with the site and we have checked it ourselves.

In order to provide the best possible information, please email us at webmaster@freeones.com if you have had any bad experiences or problems regarding unexpected charges from a pay site! When you write to us, please make sure to be as detailed as possible and include what site you joined, where you're from, what unexpected charges were made, the statement on the credit card, who you tried to contact about the charges, if anything was done, and anything else you can think of that might possibly help us!

FYI

Soon we will have updates to this new system. One of them will be that we will review all sites which are perfectly save. They will get a Ok type of icon for providing the customer great content for a good price without getting ripped

Speaking as a voice from the industry, I am very proud and applaud Freeones for doing this!

Pre-checked cross sales are the new way unscrupulous sellers of porn are ripping off customers..... you sign up to a site and without really knowing it are signing up to one or more other things and end up getting a huge bill. It leads to a lot of upset people, cancellations, and fraud/chargeback claims on credit cards.... all of which causes extra overall charges to folks like myself who use visa on our websites.

To anyone who reads this: when you join a site... make sure there are NO pre-checked cross-sales. If there are - I have seen complaints of people getting bills for $600.00 or more. If you come across a site with cross-sales, perhaps you should post it here so that other people will know.

Just my two cents.
