This is why using condoms is important. They're not 100% effective but using them to prevent the spread of STDs is better then not using them at all

And a lot of them do not know. Sad to see really. But they know what they are doing before they have sex and know about the risks and dangers. If anything, they should know about pregnancy. Thus, being a teenager, high school student, should want to stay away from that until they are well past all their schooling.
STDs are no joke. However they can be avoided if you don't sleep with the first person that says I love you and has pretty eyes and a smile. Sex education? That is just a little start. Teach them morals, values and self respect, independence, and getting a diploma in high school instead of a birth certificate.

In fairness, sure condoms help, but I'm assuming most of these girls aren't rocking AIDS but probably something like Herpes, which a condom won't protect you from it, for example, guy has cold sore, guy goes down on girl, congratulations girl, you may now have genital herpes.
