I'm just curious, I know Borat was a hit in the US, was Ali-G popular over there too?

He was kinda popular but nowhere near as popular as Borat. The Ali G character had the first movie but it wasn't that great of a movie. Borat was my favorite character, followed by Ali then Bruno. I think he should do another Ali G movie but in the documentary style.

The interviews were the best! did you get his early Ali-G interview stuff over there? Indahouse was funny, his interviews, when they came out were funny as fuck! the foundation for all his work.

That was a good series on HBO, that interviews Ali G did with the religious officials was hilarious and when he was at that training center for drug sniffing dogs was pretty funny too.
