Movie Plot Ideas

Ever thought today's movies suck? Think they could've been conceived by a hamster? O.K. then. Here's your chance to come up with a movie plot idea of your own. Just post your ideas in general terms...don't get too wordy, you know this group! We'll let you know if your plot idea sucks or not. Then you won't have to get embarrassed in front of a bunch of Hollywood weinies. Just these weinies. I'd prefer if these were serious movie ideas instead of jokes--of which I know I am guilty. But, seriously, let's give this thread a shot. Here goes mine:

Freed--My actor choice would be Gary Sinese as Cleveland disc jockey Alan Freed, the guy who coined the phrase "rock 'n roll." The whole early bebop and rockabilly thing could be conveyed, along with the payola scandals, and his risks at introducing black music to a white audience. The WABC story, his movie appearances, and his later shunning by radio stations could be included. With the right writing, this could be a good one.

Hmmm....seems like this thread is taking off like a honeymoon with Roseanne Barr. Any one of you aspiring Spielbergs got any ideas??

If I was film director I probably make a war/fantasy kind of film with a female character played by Kate Beckinsale. Set in the mediaval kind of years when this female character lead her army to save her people from a evil tyrant leader. She would have a sword and bow and arrow as her main weapons. There also be some great battles secnes.

Greenflower--In Depression-era Kansas, a struggling farmer's family witnesses a fatal car accident next to their house. The only survivor is a mentally-retarded boy who only responds to the name "Greenflower." The family reluctantly takes him in, and this causes strife between the wife, husband and kids as they begin to understand that others have much worse problems. Greenflower has certain skills nobody expected, like artistic talent, when he paints a mural on the side of the barn overnight. Of course, this brings media attention, and the attention of state officials who question whether the family should keep the child.

Zebra--A race war is looming, following the election of seven Black leaders in seven Western countries, and the subsequent assassinations of all but one of them. The guilty killers reveal themselves as a pro-White group that covers all of Europe and North America...some members of which include politicians and heads of state. The surviving black leader is asked to become a figurehead and attempt a cessation of continuing hostilities. But he refuses, citing the coming conflict as an example of God's plan. The interfusion of ethnicity and religion could work here. But the conflagration comes to a standstill when two young marrieds...one black and one white...reveal that not only was their marriage led by a right-wing pastor, but the woman is pregnant with a child of incredible abilities...like being born in only three months. Is this a new messiah?

I want to see a movie where the bad guys win. Maybe it would end in 30 minutes, maybe not. But it cannot lead to a sequel.

I wanna see a movie where the supossedly hero turns out to be the villian. Everyone thinks that he wants to save the world, but instead he sets traps and masks his true identity until the end and when everyone recognized it, it's already too late.

I want to see a movie about a huge "space station" with a giant "laser" that can blow up entire planets that is under the control of an evil galactic empire fighting against a group of rebels from a hidden base. I hope nobody steals my idea.

Hey! That's a great idea! But only if we can throw in some animatronic puppets and stupid dialogue. Oh...and how about characters who are as cheesy as a Donato's pizza? Or how about fanboy-satisfying books and video games that ignore the fact that the movies strayed way too far from their preconceived dreams of Millennium Falcon masturbation?

and the you could crap on it and make 3 prequels where you learn the badass in the earlier movies was an emo bitch and the best character get zapped out of a window.
