Red Ring of Death

I just sat down to enjoy a nice session of Fable 2, and after installing two updates off of Xbox Live, my Xbox freezes and three red lights appear. I'm waiting to see if my console just overheated, or if I have a bigger problem, but I am pissed. I don't want to send it away or anything, but I don't have a steady enough hand to try and fix it myself.

send it out they are pretty quick with the turnaround.
i did mine a few moths ago shipped it out on monday and got it back the following monday (exact same system)

My friend's sister sent out her's a while ago and it was terrible. I hope that it is as fast as yours; I'll probably send it out tomorrow. Did you send the hard drive too, or did you pop it off before sending it off?

take everything off of it.
go to the microsoft website,its alot easier than calling in to get some outsourced customer service rep who you cannot understand.

this is where i went and did these step by step things and even printed out the UPS shipping label:

this is why i do not own an xbox, ive heard from so many of my friends that they've had the RROD, and all of my friends who own a ps3, guess what? no problem what so ever. Ive never had a problem with mine either (touch wood), but i guess if microsoft's services are good and quick then it shouldn't be to much of a problem.

My friend got the RROD on his 360. He was gonna send it in but he got into a fight with his girlfriend and she broke the system.
