thanks for your detailed reply. i've got no issue with being nominated or, if i'm lucky, winning any FreeOnes competition. i was just voicing support for Greg's view in particular the feeling i have that friends vote for their friends. i think that's sad. on the few occasions i have taken part i voted for the person i think deserved it most on merit but that's me.

i have to agree with Greg on this. POTW is a very good idea but i do think it has been 'hijacked' by a group of friends who vote for their friends week after week. how sad!! i'm glad i would 'never' allow myself to join such a group. i want to puke, too...
