Back in 1997, 1998 Petra did some GREAT sets for a site called PinUp Girls. The site is since gone along with a lot of those pics. Occasionally one or two will pop up but the sets are very rare. I think there may be 8-10 sets? Does anybody have a lead on where to find them?
By the way, this woman is in her early 40's and still classically and naturally beautiful!

I think she has grown much more confident with herself over time. She once said she was very shy at one time, so posing for Playboy, and being the most published woman in the history of the magazine is obviouse proof that she isn't shy (at least about her body) anymore. You couldn't be more wrong. It is no bluff. Some websites choose to protect their property. Copyright law has some serious teeth to it - like $150,000 per-violation judgements.

And, while she is mostly upset about people using her work for commercial purposes, she could just as easily go after anyone who uses her work.
I have had friends who have lost their ISP account over photo posting. Read your Terms of Service - violating copyright law is reason enough to get you suspended for good - and then you don't have Internet access.
It is the owners right to decide what gets used and where. I doubt that any model that protects their property really loses out at all. Why join a site if you can get everything for free?

What I mean is that over the years, Petra almost certainly could have gotten much more exposure if her site wasn't so aggressive legally. More of her pics would have been posted and seen by more potential customers. This would have driven more customers to her website where they would sign up for her updates.
People who really wanted her pics but didn't want to pay were always going to be able to get them on usenet (or later, P2P) anyways.
I'm not saying that her stance is right or wrong, but that in retrospect it seems shortsighted. At the time her site (and bobbi billard's) were set up, that's how it was done, but nowadays someone like Denise Milani (in two very important ways an heir to Petra) is much more permissive because she realizes that it helps her out in the long run.

I think that by protecting her rights she took a stand on what she was willing to do. She knew that she had a set fan-base that enjoyed her work and who were willing to pay to see that work. Because of that she was able to do what she wanted to do. The other option would be for her to constantly cave in and do what she felt fans would want her to do just so that she could draw them back to her site. Look at all those "stars" who started off with alot of exposure but soon had to resort to hard core sets just to lure old fans back to their work because they weren't loyal fans who enjoyed the work of the model.
I think that Petra has maintained her core base of die-hard fans who may not maintain their membership at her site but are willing to go back once or twice a year to get her pics, and also a broader fan base of fans who love her looks who are willing to hunt for her older photo sets to see what she has out there.
There are few models that have such a broad and large fan base. Just look at how many pages are on the tread here compared to many other models. Petra may have the largest/longest thread, but she has one of them.

It's $14.95 for a month and you don't have to renew, in some of her new sets, she's completely shaven, which is a change from the past. One month is worth all the pics and videos you can download.
It's $16.95 now for new members while old members still pay $14.95 for the rebill. She recently redesigned the site and also added a tour. The content inside is still the same however with the standard photo updates and regular chat sessions (still no webcam). Video updates are often promised but still average the once every 9 months update schedule. All this is moot though, if you're a fan of hers, because she looks so good regardless of her age.

You're right about the lack of new content. I was a member of her site and every photo set/video she released was identical. She's great to look at, granted, but you can see her once and see everything that she shows. It reached a point where it seemed like a treat if this nude model showed a little more skin or pubic hair or something, which, if you ask me, is outrageous.

I went to high school with Petra. We rode on the same school bus to the campus on the West side of Pasadena. She was a really nice girl. Pretty quiet, not wild or crazy at all. Usually wore jeans and a polo shirt. She wasn't someone you would think would become such a well published model.
I am surprised she hasn't tried or been able to more TV and movie appearances. She still looks great for her age. I kept her original Playboy magazine from the 80's. We still have some mutual friends, but she pretty much lost touch with everyone over the years.

In the BTS video for this shoot she did some poses she's never done before so we'll see if those photos make it past the cutting room floor and into the 2nd part.
She also released part 2 of the Petra Croft video series on the 14th. In this video she reveals the contents of her case and finds a bottle of "Sure Fuck" cologne. The cologne's fragrance causes her to strip from her PC outfit and the video fades to black as she is removing her panties.

Well, another month has came and went and boy how time flies. February on PetraCentral saw the release of the first part of a photo gallery and two videos. While the photo galleries have been lacking this year she has came strong with the video updates recently. Depending on who you ask, the increase in videos may or may not make up for the lack of photo gallery updates.
I'm looking forward to March with the continuation of her Petra Croft fantasy adventure and the conclusion of the Purple Dress gallery. Perhaps she'll release another full gallery update next month to make up for the lapse.

Hey , I love this comparison collage thing . Staying on topic , Petra is gorgeous and I remember when I frist saw her in Playboy . I saw sso glad when i discovered she had her own site and joined up . I might have to take another look as i haven;t been on there since a couple of years ago .

March is now in the history books so let's re-cap the updates that took place on her website.

I have been a long time fan and she is very good at taking pictures. She looks first class and always very seducing. Good photography and nice set. She could have been more revealing, but it seems that she is doing so these last few months. Sure there is photoshop involved, but more to the skin then the enlargement and so forth. However since I have watched the videos that came with the recent playboy sets, I must admit that she seems a bit dense. Am I wrong? Anyone ever met her?

As far as the pinupglam stuff goes. Why is it that almost every single person you shoot seems to have larger breasts in your pictures, even while other pictures taken around the same time with different producers don't? I don't really want to accuse anybody of anything,...but it's gotten to the point where it's hard for me to brush it off as coincidence. It almost makes me suspect your doctoring the pictures in some way, ether while it shot with the camera or afterwards with image editing to achieve that effect.
