Hi there, last few days we have had a few people post 'Hello' threads, you know the type, letting us know they are members here and wanting to introduce themselves. Thing is, they are popping up in a few different places because there is no specific section to put things like that in.
How aboot getting a section in called 'Introduce yourself' or something like that for these new guys and gals to come in and say hi rather than cluttering up the FYFB or Freeones Talk sections?
Just an idea...

 i completely agree with Felthat as i had trouble trying to make my presence felt in the forums...it would definitely unclutter some of the threads

yup those other threads won't get much views and therefore it will not work. I'm sure about it.

Fair do's. But I know how daunting it must be for them newbies. A forum for them to share views with other newbies and make little newbie friends before venturing yonder into the other forums to join the big league. I know that wasn't a proper sentence, but can I be arsed to re-type it? Can I 'eck as like!

I think in some ways near South Yorkshire that is a proper sentence actually Tach'! Obviously I agree with you agreeing cos it was my idea anyway, but I still think its a relevant point and would like to see what other members thought aboot it!

That sounds cool to get a little recognition when you first come in but it really isn't that big of a deal to make a whole new section. When I joined I just went right into it trying to let people know who I am by my posts, I think it worked to an extent. People notice me but they don't really know me...
